SATYA HANGGA YUDHA WIDYA PUTRA
Satya Hangga Yudha Widya Putra is a Founder of the Indonesian Energy and Environmental Institute (IE2I: www.ie2i.or.id). Satya recently attained a Master of Science degree in Energy and Environmental Policy with distinction (GPA > 3.80) (Magna Cum Laude) from New York University (NYU). His study at NYU was fully funded by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance (LPDP PK-51). Satya also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Economics from Michigan State University where he was a member of the Honors College. As an Undergraduate Student, Satya completed coursework at Harvard University and the University of California, Los Angeles.
Satya regularly writes op-ed articles for Jakarta Globe, The Jakarta Post, and Globe Asia Business Magazine. The American Spectator and The Christian Science Monitor have referenced Satya’s writings. He appeared on Registry Magazine’s March 2016 Edition where Satya discussed Indonesia’s Energy Sector. Satya was also featured on Indonesia Economic Forum’s (IEF) website about IE2I and his participation as a panelist at the 1st Indonesia Energy Conference (IEC) 2017.
Throughout his life, Satya has lived in 5 countries namely the United States, United Kingdom, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and traveled to over 31. Furthermore, he took part in a 2014 – 2015 Winter Break Study Abroad Program (Marketing and Business in London) through Michigan State University and embarked on a 2016 Summer Japan Global Field Intensive (Comparative Energy Politics: Historical Contemporary Examination of Japan and Energy Security) through New York University.firstname.lastname@example.org
